What the app stores

Everything the app remembers stays on your device and is never sent anywhere:

• Which chantings you have downloaded
• Where you had reached in a chanting
• Your playback settings

Deleting the app removes all of it. There is nothing to delete on our side, because there is nothing on our side.

What leaves your device

Only ordinary requests to fetch content:

• The list of available chantings
• A chanting audio file, when you choose to download one

These are served over HTTPS. Like any web request they include your IP address and the time of the request, which the hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may retain in standard server logs. Those logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not linked to any identity, because the app never sends one.

What the app does not do

• No user accounts, sign-in, email address or phone number
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers
• No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access
• No data sold or shared with third parties
• No cookies or cross-app tracking

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Permissions

The app requests no runtime permissions. It plays audio in the background, which requires no permission on iOS. On Android it posts a media notification so playback controls are available while the screen is off.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
